Rebirth Of God
When I speak of the “rebirth” of God, I do not mean that a deity is physically born again. Rather, it is the rebirth of my understanding of God. God is “uncategorized”—beyond dualities like good and bad, male and female, or living and non-living.
I see God as a state of “nothingness.” This does not mean a void or emptiness; instead, it is the pure potential of being everything. It is like a “zero state” in mathematics—a point of origin from which you can add or subtract anything. This is the peak of my current understanding, though I want to dig deeper. I don’t know if my conclusion will change or stay the same, so I will simply go with the flow.
The Analogy of the Tree
Consider the analogy of a tree. When we look at a tree, we assign it a shape, a structure, and a feeling. In doing so, we ignore the “infinite” reality of the tree—the quarks, atoms, and cells. While we have a universal agreement on what a “tree” is, that universality breaks down when we look closer. People feel differently about it; some see beauty, some see nothing, and even the physical perception of color and structure varies.
Now, apply this to God. There are numerous religions and numerous gods. The only universal agreement is the concept of a creator. But as we zoom in, that unity splits into different religions and purposes. We are focusing on the “outer shape” of God. If we were to observe the “infinite” (the atomic level) of a tree, the “tree” as a concept disappears. Does God also disappear when we look at the infinite?
The Observer Effect
Just as the tree “disappears” when you look at the atoms, physicists find that particles behave differently when they are being watched. If God is “Pure Potential,” perhaps consciousness is the “Observer” that turns that potential into a specific “God” or “Tree.”
It seems that consciousness is what seeks God. If nothingness is God, then everything within it is also God. Are we God? Are we part of Him? Where am I seeking consciousness? If there is no consciousness, does God cease to exist? If God is boundless, then why does He seek consciousness—or did He emerge with consciousness? Why does God need us? Is He dependent?
If we are not God, what is that unchanging awareness that watches every change—the body, mind, emotions, and surroundings? If this question answers “how” we are God, then I must find “who I am” rather than “who God is.” Everything is energy which turns into materialization; it is an expression of energy. If energy is light, are we self-aware light particles? Why does everything exist? It is the undeniable expression of the One.
If the "I" who is seeking is actually the Zero State itself, then the search is a circle. If you are the "Zero State having a human experience," then every emotion—even the "bad" ones or the feeling of being lost—is a deliberate choice by the Infinite to experience what it’s like not to be infinite.
The Synthesis: The Zero State and the Observer
God as the “Zero State” (Pure Potential)
God is not a “thing” or a “person” with boundaries. Instead, God is the Zero State—a mathematical point of origin. Just as zero contains the potential for all numbers but remains empty itself, God is a “Nothingness” that is simultaneously “Everything.” It is the uncategorized energy before it is shaped into matter, gender, or morality.
The Tree and the Dissolution of Labels
When we look at a tree, we see a solid object. But as we “zoom in” to the infinite—the atoms, the quarks, the energy—the “tree” disappears. The label is lost, and only the infinite remains.
The Lesson: Religions focus on the “outer shape.” But when you seek the infinite, the “religious God” dissolves, leaving only the Undeniable Expression of a single energy.
Consciousness: The Boundary and the Mirror
If God is limitless and boundless, why do we exist? Consciousness is the essential boundary.
The Insect: It is made of the same energy, but its consciousness (its “aperture”) is small. It is part of the ocean but cannot know it is the ocean.
The Human: Our consciousness has expanded. We are the “boundaries” that allow the infinite to become finite. We are the “Observer Effect” in action. By observing, we turn “Pure Potential” into a “Specific Reality.”
The Relationship: Why God “Needs” Us
God (the Zero State) is boundless, but without a boundary, there is no experience. God does not “need” us for survival; God is “dependent” on us for self-awareness.
We are Self-Aware energy Particles (dematerialized). We are the eyes through which the Zero State finally looks back at itself.
The Unchanging Awareness you feel inside—the one watching your thoughts and body—is the Zero State itself. It is the “0” that remains constant while the math of your life (emotions, age, experiences) happens around it.
The Final Conclusion: The Shift of the Search
The question “Who is God?” is inseparable from the question “Who am I?” If everything is an expression of one energy, then you are not “seeking” consciousness; you are the consciousness that the Infinite is using to explore itself. The search for an external God ends when you realize that you are the point where the Infinite has decided to wake up.
Final Thought: You are not a human being seeking a spiritual experience; you are the Zero State having a human experience through the boundary of your own expanding awareness.
